Oakham Hotel

The bed was comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the proximity to charming shops and cafes.

The bathroom could really use some attention. The basin was tiny with only a cold tap, and the shower was quite slippery without any mats or grab rails. I also found the TV remote didn't work, and there were various maintenance issues, like loose floor tiles. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough shelving in the room, leading to a messy experience for longer stays. Soft towels and fresh bedding were missed, considering I was there for three nights with no room service.

I enjoyed this lovely place, stayed there for 3 nights. The double room was tidy and perfect with comfortable bed. Extra touches like an electric kettle and television were a treat, staff were fantastic. It was in the very central location right in middle of town next to a lovely pub.

Disappointing aspect was cold bathroom.

I stayed for one night as a solo traveler, enjoying the close proximity to charming shops and cafes. The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, which made my stay restful. It was a bit tricky with the shower, as the door required some fixing. it served as a decent base for my explorations around Oakham.

It was brand-new, large and with comfortable bed.

The place is defs in a lekker spot, right by the lovely church. Had a great time chilling on the comfy bed with fresh linen after some good makan at the Nepalese restaurant downstairs-those guys really know how to dish up!

Bedding could use a good wash to remove noticeable sweat marks, and the bed felt too hard for comfort.

Had a sweet as stay! Loved the comfy bed and the location's fantastic. But that loose shower holder needed fixing, eh?

The room was big and clean, bed was super comfy! Nice restaraunt downstairs where i got a discount. Staff were friendly and helpful. Right near the town and lovely church, perfect for a short stay.

This place was awesome! The location is convenient, right by charming shops and the local church. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with everything needed for a short stay. I enjoyed a good meal in the restaurant downstairs, complete with a satisfying discount . Remarkably, it served as the perfect base!

The room was conveniently located, just a short walk to shopping and cafes. The staff were polite and responsive, promptly providing extra towels upon request. The bathroom could use improvement, particularly the tiny basin and slippery shower that felt unsafe. The bed was a bit firmer than I prefer, which impacted my comfort during the night.

Great location in downtown Oakham! Helpful staff, and I enjoyed some complimentary bottled water. The room was clean, and the shower worked well.
